The Church of Saint Wenceslas in Strupčice is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Wenceslas. It is located in the village of Strupčice within the Ústecký kraj region. Built around 1400, it has been designated as a cultural monument since 1963. This historical site stands on a modest hill above a small square, originally surrounded by a cemetery abolished in 1878.

The church is notable for its architectural transformations over centuries, including late Gothic renovations around 1500 and significant Baroque modifications in 1780. The first written mention of Strupčice dates back to 1352, with the church being referenced two years later. Initially constructed circa 1400, it underwent a renovation in the late Gothic style around 1500, during which time it was also fortified.

The 17th century saw a shift towards Protestantism, leading to the decline of its Catholic parish. A significant Baroque transformation occurred in 1780, introducing major changes to both the interior and structure of the church. Further modifications at the end of the 19th century included new interior paintings.

Architecturally, the Church of Saint Wenceslas is an oblong single-nave building with a square presbytery. A late Gothic tower adjoins its northern side, while the nave features a saddle roof and a small turret above the western gable. The nave's flat ceiling is illuminated by large segmented windows, and it houses a gallery supported by two cylindrical sandstone columns accessible via a spiral staircase in the northwest corner. The presbytery is lit by a single window on its southern side and covered with a Czech vault.

A late Gothic portal leads to a barrel-vaulted sacristy at ground level of the tower, from which a stairway ascends to the pulpit. During the Baroque renovation, the original Gothic nave was extended westward and supplemented with a small vestibule featuring a Baroque statue of Saint Wenceslas.

The church's tower comprises four masonry levels and one timber floor housing the bell frame. Except for the ground level, these floors are separated by truss ceilings. Access to the tower is through the undercroft leading to its third story, from where a ladder descends to the second story with a bricked entrance. The masonry levels of the tower are lit by groups of arrow slit windows equipped with preserved crossbars for hand-held firearms. A bulbous dome topped with an octagonal lantern completes the tower.

Inside, the church houses several notable items: a baroque main altar featuring an image of Saint Wenceslas's Martyrdom from the early 18th century, a rococo pulpit, and an organ loft. The western facade's clock is operated by machinery located in the undercroft. A gravestone belonging to Chomutov citizen Kryštof z Killendalu from 1571 was relocated here from the now-vanished village of Nové Sedlo nad Bílinou.

In the vicinity, several smaller monuments have been relocated from vanished villages in the Chomutov region. These include two reconciliation crosses and a mid-18th-century Prunéřov Madonna statue near the church entrance. Additionally, a pieta from 1741 by sculptor K. Weitzmann, originally from Milžany, and a sculpture of Saint John Nepomucene from Tušimice by J. K. Vetter dating to 1723 are present in the small square beneath the church. Two pairs of calvary crosses were also relocated here.

Today, the Church of Saint Wenceslas stands as a testament to its rich historical and architectural legacy. Despite challenges faced during the late 20th century when Strupčice was threatened by coal mining activities, efforts post-1990 ensured the preservation of this cultural monument. Visitors are invited to explore not only the church itself but also the surrounding area enriched with relocated historical artifacts, offering a glimpse into the region's past and its enduring heritage.
