Kostel svatých Petra a Pavla v Úštěku is a remarkable Baroque building located on the Peace Square in the center of Úštěk. It's a Roman Catholic dean's church of a pasty parish built in a baroque style. The church is protected as a cultural monument and its architecture is remarkable by its unique combination of baroque elements and Gothic details.

Kostel svatých Petra a Pavla v Úštěku was created at the site of the former church of St. Michael from the 14th century. The construction of a new church was allowed and secured by Jesuits who were located in a nearby Liberian castle. The church is built on a floor plan of a longitudinal, single-boat building with a tower embedded in the western facade. He's got side empores, two sacristy, and an outcast presbytery with a half-circle apsid.

The facades of the whole church are broken by a pair of high pilasters and high casual windows. Above the front portal is a balcony on volute consoles. On the sides of the ledge in the front of the church are sandstone Baroque statues of St. Peter and St. Paul. The inner space of the church is glass of Czech flat between double belts. On the sides it has wide pillars with pairs of pilasters and between them a passable side chapel and empores.

There are orators in the presbytery. Behind the door of the entrance door on the left is hanging an oval picture of the Birth of the Lord. On the right is an oval painting reminiscent of the visit of the Virgin Mary near St. Elizabeth. There are two dates on the ceiling of the ceiling of the circle. The year 1769 is probably wrong because the painter accidentally switched the number 7 for 9. The second date of 1897 is the date of the last painting of the church.

The church has four side entrances and three entrances on the west front. A massive Baroque parish building was built next to the church in 1772. In 1832 the church received a new roof and the helmet tower dates back to 1879. After 1945, when the German-speaking inhabitants were displaced and the subsequent period of the communist totalitarian regime, the church was decayed considerably. After the communist totalitarianism, the church cloak was restored.
