Klášter Svaté Pole, originally known as Monasterium Sacer Campus or Kloster Heiligenfeld in Latin and German respectively, was a Cistercian monastery located in what is now part of Ledce, within the Královéhradecký kraj. Founded around 1149 or 1157, it sat nestled in the valley of the Dědina River, belonging to the historical Hradecký region. Although no above-ground remnants remain today, its significance lies in its role during a transformative period for Bohemia's religious and political landscape.

The origins of Klášter Svaté Pole are somewhat shrouded in mystery. Historical sources suggest it was established either in 1149 or 1157, though the exact reasons behind its founding are not fully documented. The monastery’s affiliation is debated among historians; some propose it might have been a daughter house of Morimond or Žďár monasteries, while others consider Hradiště as a possibility. Despite these uncertainties, Klášter Svaté Pole was first officially mentioned in 1272 during a general chapter meeting that permitted abbots from Morimond and Žďár to establish new monasteries.

During its time, the monastery existed within a broader context of significant religious expansion across Europe, particularly by the Cistercian order. This period also saw increased consolidation of power among local nobility and strengthened ecclesiastical influence in Bohemia. The Cistercians were known for their architectural innovations and strict monastic practices, which likely influenced Klášter Svaté Pole's operations.

Ownership and administration details are limited; however, it is documented that by 1292, the monastery had an established abbacy. Despite its historical presence, the monastery did not amass significant wealth or landholdings. By the end of the 14th century, plans for constructing a new church were noted, though these may never have been realized.

A pivotal event in Klášter Svaté Pole's history occurred at the close of 1420 when it was captured and plundered by Hussites. This marked its decline into obscurity as no further records mention the monastery thereafter. By the late 16th century, the lands that once belonged to the monastery had been transferred to the Trčků z Lípy family from Opočno.

Today, Klášter Svaté Pole leaves behind no physical structures for visitors to explore. The remnants of its church are believed to have disappeared around 1740. Despite this absence of tangible heritage, the site remains a point of historical interest due to its connection with broader ecclesiastical and regional developments during the Middle Ages.
