< p > Otto Bartning (12 April 1883 Karlsruhe - 20 February 1959) is among the most important German architects and theorists of architecture in the first half of the 20th century. With Walter Gropius, he thought about Bauhaus, but he was no longer involved in its creation. It belongs to the founders of the Der Ring Association. < / p > < p > After World War II, many so-called emergency churches (Notkirche) were created in Germany according to its projects, for which he designed a design solution from the prefabricates. < / p > < p > He was mainly created in Germany and Austria, but several churches according to his projects were created in Bohemia, e.g. in New Town under Smrk or Kraslice. < / p >
