< p > Giovanni Battista Pieroni (1586 San Miniato, Florencie - 1654) was an early baroque Italian architect, fortification engineer and urbanist who worked a significant part of his life in Czech countries. The breadth of Pieroni's interests was great, but it was most applied as a builder and fortification engineer and became also famous as an astrologer and author of horoscopes. < / p >
