< p > Benedikt Rejt or Benedict Ried from Pístov, sometimes also from Piesting (1454- 1536), also known as Benedict Rieth, Reyd, Rotta, Reta, Benedict Reijt, but also Beneš of Lounn or Beneš Lounský was a Czech fortification builder and architect of German origin. The years of his birth are approximately 1454 and after his death in 1534 or 1536 he was buried in the church of St. Nicholas in Louny. < / p >
