< p > František Josef Thomayer (March 3, 1856, Trhanov - February 18, 1938, Říčany) was the Czech garden architect and brother of the doctor Josef Thomayer. < / p > < p > It was one of the greatest experts of his time in the field of garden architecture, who was director of Prague parks and gardens and nurseries in Říčany near Prague at the end of the 19th century. Apart from Prague, he worked very often in other cities in the territory of the Czech countries - Nymburk, Mariánské Lazne, Chrudim, Přerov and others. He also worked on modifications to some castle parks and private gardens. < / p >
