< p > Karel Filsak (10 October 1917 Jindřichův Hradec - 1 July 2000 Praha) was a Czech modern architect. < / p > < p > Led a group of architects, including Karel Bubeníček, Jiří Louda and Jan Šrámek. With this group, he opposed politically imposed socialist realism in the 1960s and promoted real modern architecture in Czechoslovakia. < / p > < p > Its architecture is considered Czech equivalent to brutalism for the use of harsh concrete surfaces. < / p >
